Ram 3500 is Made for Heavy Hauling

The Ram 3500 Heavy Duty's new fifth-wheel hitch design allows it to pull an amazing 30,000 pounds which are the heaviest in the industry.

With the new fifth-wheel hitch designed by Ram Engineering, the 3500 can handle a heavy load with ease. The Ram 3500 Heavy Duty gooseneck has a weight rating of 31,210 pounds and the conventional hitch's weight rating is 20,000 pounds.

The secret to the Ram's pulling power is the 6.7 liter Cummins diesel engine that brings its total torque to 930 pounds-feet, the highest rating ever given to the pickup. Even with that pulling power, the Ram 3500 remains at the top of its class for durability and efficiency.

Check out our Ram trucks at Westgate Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram at 6421 Old Westgate Road Raleigh, NC. Our staff can arrange a test drive of the 3500 or any of our 1500 or 2500 model trucks.
